North Andover Baby Photographer – Happy Birthday!

One year old. One whole year since this little man joined the family, and changed their lives forever. A year of watching a scrunchy, sleepy newborn grow into a silly, loveable little guy, so full of personality. That first birthday is a pretty big deal – not just for baby, but for Mom and Dad, too. It’s a milestone that is often celebrated with photos – and I was honored to be invited to capture these images so that they could look back at this happy time and remember the love, excitement, and joy.

Family Photography North Andover MA – The Tea Party

This adorable, funny little girl is literally growing up in front of my camera. I’ve had the pleasure of photographing her before she was born, then as a NEWBORN, at SIX MONTHS, ONE YEAR, and now 1.5! Seeing her family so regularly has made our sessions so comfortable, fun, and enjoyable – it’s like getting together with friends each time I photograph them.

When mom suggested we have a tea party in the woods, I thought it sounded like a perfect activity for her next session! I had so much fun capturing this sweet girl with her favorite doll during a morning of play and laughter.

Methuen MA Photographer – Happy Father’s Day!

06.14.14

We don’t really do presents in our family. At least not in the typical buy-something-for-a-holiday-just-because-you’re-supposed-to sort of way. We are very grateful for everything we already have – and most of that can’t be bought at a store anyway. Instead, we try to celebrate special days in ways that make the person of honor feel loved, appreciated, and very happy 🙂

This year, my hubby is not home for Father’s Day morning, because he took both of our boys on their very first camping trip! Talk about an awesome Daddy… I can’t wait to hear all about their adventures when they get home! Since I can’t exactly bring him breakfast in bed, I thought it might be nice for him to wake up to a recap of the past year in photos. He does so much as a Daddy that it’s hard to capture it all, but I think I got the things that mean the most to us – coaching, snuggling, reading, running, Lego-ing, riding, laughing, running…he really does it all.

Tewksbury MA Family Photographer – Play time!

After a long winter of being cooped up inside, this handsome little guy was more than happy to get outside and play during our session! I don’t think we stopped moving for the entire time we were together. We ran, threw leaves, played on the playground, blew bubbles….and did I mention all of the running? Sessions with one-year-olds are certainly a good workout!

Methuen MA Baby Photography – Three months loved

06.04.14

Three months? Already?! It’s crazy how fast the first year of a baby’s life flies by. That’s one of the reasons I just love the Baby’s First Year Plan! After the newborn session, we can do as many mini-sessions as the parents would like until the baby turns one. Some choose to capture images every month, while others prefer to document milestones like sitting, standing and walking. Whatever the parents choose, I’m just grateful to get to know these little ones as they grow from scrunchy little newborns into independent, strong toddlers. I captured my own daughter every three months for the first year, and then created an album with all of the images. I’m not exaggerating when I say that I look through those pages almost every day! I am looking forward to building something equally beautiful for this family 🙂 Just look how much he’s already grown since his NEWBORN session!
