After years of focusing on babies, families, and local businesses, I am excited to announce that Sarah Jordan Photography is now also photographing weddings! This fall, I took on a limited number of small, intimate weddings, and had a fabulous time capturing the happy couples on their big days!
Even as a little girl, this bride never dreamed of a big wedding with all the fanfare. Instead, she told her family that she wanted to “get married at town hall on a Tuesday”. And that’s precisely what she did! It may have been simpler and more relaxed than other weddings, but it was certainly big on romance! I loved all of the thoughtful little details they pulled together for this beautiful day – I mean, just look at those shoes! And that little ring pouch the bride’s mother made to keep track of their rings? So sweet 🙂
Although the temps were downright frigid, we snuck outside for a few minutes to capture some beautiful portraits in front of what might have been the very last bit of foliage out there this fall!
Then we finally headed over to town hall to tie the knot! I loved how excited everyone was when they saw the couple walk in. Although the ceremony itself was very private, many people happily offered their congratulations as we made our way to the ceremony location. I was honored to be one of the few people in the room that day, and had to blink away the tears so that I could see through my camera!
