Salisbury MA Baby Photographer – Birthday at the Beach

I photographed him BEFORE he was born, as a NEWBORN, then at THREE MONTHS, SIX MONTHS, NINE MONTHS and now a year. At each session, we made sure to embrace the beauty of the season – spring flowers, fall leaves, snowfall, the beach…I loved the way it all worked together, and can’t wait to see all of the images together in an album!

North Andover MA Photographer – Whim Dinner

Last night, I photographed another amazing Whim Dinner for Smolak Farms in North Andover MA. This fresh, delicious, and fun event is held every Wednesday during the summer, and is a unique way to enjoy some creative menus from some of the areas most incredible chefs! Last night’s feast was prepared by Chef Andy Husbands, from Tremont 647 in Boston’s South End.

As much as I enjoyed attending Whim last night, I’m even more excited to go back with my husband and enjoy the food WITHOUT my camera 😉

Andover Baby Photography – All giggles and smiles!

This mini-session was a whirlwind! We started with some beautiful sun, but a nasty thunderstorm quickly rolled in and threatened to crash the session. Luckily, little man was all smiles, and we grabbed plenty of awesome shots in the short 20 minutes that mother nature granted us!

Cape Cod Photographer – Heaven on earth

07.17.14

Our family just got back from heaven on earth. We are refreshed, renewed, and already counting down the days until next year’s trip!

We spent the last two weeks enjoying sunshine, sand, and seafood in Cape Cod, MA. My husband and I grew up going to the Cape with our own families, and it’s been incredible to be able to take our children there now and watch them enjoy the same traditions and adventures that we grew up with.

We were lucky to have some beautiful weather this year, so we spent the majority of our time splashing around and making sandcastles at our favorite beaches:

When we weren’t at the beach, we enjoyed some yummy meals out, playing cards on the porch, and sorting the 394867 shells that came home with us each day!

But somehow, we always found our way back to the water…

This year, we took the kids on a hike to a new beach, and it was truly one of the most gorgeous places I’ve ever seen. The boys nicknamed it “hidden beach,” and the time we spent there was simply magical!

Pinkle Toes Photography workshop

07.16.14

Way back in 2011, I attended a Pinkle Toes Photography workshop in Austin, TX that changed my life. I know, that sounds really dramatic…but I swear, it’s true! That weekend, I began to put the pieces of my business together, made lifelong friends, and confirmed my decision to transition from my career in Education to Photography. It’s a trip that I hold dear to my heart and will never forget.

A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to hang out with a different (but equally fantastic) group of women in Ridgewood, NJ for a new and improved Pinkle Toes Photography workshop! I was amazed and humbled by how much talent surrounded me (seriously, these women are incredible!). Of course, the best part of the whole weekend was the opportunity to visit and learn from my dear friend Michele. Together, we laughed, talked, learned, and, of course, took some photos! Although I actually managed to keep my camera off for most of the trip, I did snap a few images during our time together. I hope you enjoy the photos below, and then take a few minutes to see the images captured by the other attendees!
